Bridge & swap

One widget solves the plumbing problem of a multichain launchpad: getting the right asset onto the right chain, and turning it into the right token once it's there. Bridging between chains and swapping on a single chain live in the same surface, powered by LI.FI - a routing aggregator that shops your trade across dozens of bridges and DEXs. It is non-custodial, it works today, and it shows you the fee before you sign.

What it does

Degenland launches tokens across five networks, but your funds are wherever they happen to be. Rather than send you to a third-party site and hope you come back, the app embeds a single LI.FI widget that does two jobs from one place:

  • Bridge - move an asset from one chain to another, including EVM ⇄ Solana.
  • Swap - stay on one chain and turn one token into another, using the same aggregated routing.

It is not our liquidity and not a bridge we operate. LI.FI is an aggregator: it quotes across many underlying bridges and DEX aggregators and picks a route, and every transaction is signed by your own wallet. The widget reuses the wallets the app already holds - your EVM wallet for the four EVM chains, your Solana wallet for Solana - so there is no second wallet system to connect. Find it at /bridge.

Non-custodial

The widget offers exactly five chains - the same allowlist the code carries as LIFI_SUPPORTED:

  • Ethereum - bridge and swap only; Degenland never launches tokens here.
  • BSC, Base, Ronin - the EVM launch chains. On each you can both bridge in/out and swap same-chain.
  • Solana - full support in both directions: bridge to or from Solana and swap SOL-side, routed through Solana meta-aggregators.

Ronin is worth calling out: LayerZero runs no endpoint there, so LI.FI is the only cross-chain path Ronin has - it works here even where our own cross-chain expansion cannot reach.

Bridging is independent of launching

A chain appearing in this widget says nothing about whether you can launch a token on it. The bridge allowlist and the launch venues are separate lists on purpose - Ethereum is bridge-only, and Ronin bridges here while its launch venue is still coming soon.

How routing works

You pick a source, a destination and an amount; the widget quotes a route and shows the amount that will arrive, net of every fee, before you sign. Two things about routing are worth understanding.

Aggregation, not a single pool

LI.FI compares many bridges and DEX aggregators and routes through whichever is best for that trade, rather than pinning one venue - which is why pricing is competitive and why the same widget can reach Solana at all. EVM ERC-20 routes may need a one-time token approval before the swap; the widget handles that approve-then-execute step for you. Solana uses no approval model.

Bridges settle asynchronously

A bridge is not atomic: your source transaction confirms first, and the destination settles moments to minutes later. The widget polls each route to completion and shows its status, so success is never inferred from the source receipt alone. If a bridge cannot complete, funds are refunded per that bridge’s own policy - sometimes as a different token on either chain. Those refunds are the underlying bridge’s, not Degenland’s, and can take time.

The fee, disclosed

Degenland takes a flat 0.75% integrator fee on the trade, and the widget shows it in the route breakdown before you sign - the amount you receive is already net of it. The fee is non-custodial on both ecosystems: on EVM it is forwarded to our fee wallet at execution time, and on Solana it lands in the same transaction. There is no separate claim step and nothing custodial in the path.

The fee is not being collected yetBuilt · not live

LI.FI rejects any quote that carries a fee until the integrator is registered on their partner portal - so today the widget sends only attribution, no fee, and every quote you get is free of our cut. The 0.75% switches on the day registration lands (a single config flag, NEXT_PUBLIC_LIFI_FEE_ENABLED), with no change to how the widget behaves otherwise. Until then, bridging and swapping work; we simply collect nothing.

Why not Robinhood Chain

Robinhood Chain is deliberately absent from the widget. Its cross-chain path is our own LayerZero OFT bridge, not LI.FI - routing Robinhood through two different bridge stacks would split liquidity and confuse the flow. So while LI.FI could technically reach it, funds move onto and off Robinhood Chain over the LayerZero path instead, and the five chains above are what this widget offers.

Is it live?

Live - the widget is built, wired into the app’s existing wallets, and functional today. This is the one place where Degenland touches real mainnet assets while the launchpad itself is still on testnets: LI.FI serves live mainnet chains, so the bridge and swap are real even though every launch venue is testnet-only for now. That is the opposite of the old integration this replaced, which refused to render off mainnet.

The only thing not yet switched on is our fee (see above). Bridging and swapping across Ethereum, BSC, Base, Ronin and Solana work right now, free of our cut, from /bridge.
