Glossary
The vocabulary of the platform, alphabetically. Terms link to the page that treats them in full.
A - E
- Anti-sniper
- A per-launch setting that caps every wallet at
2%of supply while the token is bonding, so one actor cannot sweep a young curve. On by default. More. - Basis point (bps)
- One hundredth of a percent.
100 bps = 1%. Fees and caps are specified in bps because percentages of percentages get ambiguous fast. - Bonding curve
- The formula-priced market a token trades on before graduation; the launchpad contract is the counterparty of every trade. More.
- Bridge & swap
- The in-app LI.FI widget that bridges between, and swaps on, Ethereum, BSC, Base, Ronin and Solana. Non-custodial; carries a disclosed
0.75%fee. Robinhood Chain is handled by the OFT path instead. - Bundle
- A creator's atomic buy into up to 30 wallets, permanently disclosed on-chain - Degenland's answer to hidden multi-wallet accumulation. More.
- CLMM
- Raydium's concentrated-liquidity pool. A Solana custom pair opens directly as a CLMM pool - tradeable from block one, with no curve and no graduation.
- Completion
- The moment a curve reaches its target (
2×the opening reserve, net). Curve trading stops and the token waits for graduation. - CREATE2
- The EVM opcode that lets a contract address be computed before deploy. Degenland grinds a salt so a launch can claim a vanity address.
- DBC
- Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve - the engine behind a native-SOL Solana launch, the counterpart of the EVM contract curve. Graduates into a Meteora DAMM v2 pool.
- Dev buy
- The creator's optional first buy, executed atomically inside the launch transaction and capped at
2%of supply. Publicly disclosed in the launch event.
F - M
- Fee routing
- The launch-time choice of where a creator's fee share flows: paid out, burned into buybacks, paid to stakers, or converted to tokenized stock (when live) - one choice for the ETH side, one for the token side. More.
- Full-range position
- DEX liquidity spread across every possible price, like a classic v2 pool - it can never fall out of range. What graduation mints.
- Graduation
- The hand-off from curve to DEX: raised funds plus reserved supply become a locked, full-range liquidity position. More.
- Hotness
- The published score behind Trending and King of the Hill: recent volume, decayed by time since the last buy, plus small trade-count and holder-count terms. More.
- Keeper
- A platform-operated background process that calls role-gated contract functions on schedule - graduating completed curves, collecting LP fees, executing buybacks. Keepers have narrowly scoped roles, not admin power.
- King of the Hill
- The hottest still-bonding token, spotlighted on the home page.
- LI.FI
- The cross-chain routing aggregator that powers the in-app bridge & swap. It shops each trade across many underlying bridges and DEXs rather than pinning one venue.
- LP NFT
- The Uniswap V3 token that represents a liquidity position. The launchpad holds each graduated token's LP NFT forever; only its fees can be collected.
- Max wallet
- The
2%-of-supply balance cap enforced during bonding on anti-sniper tokens.
N - S
- OFT (cross-chain expansion)
- LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard - the rail behind cross-chain expansion, where one canonical supply is bridged to a second chain after graduation. Not available on Ronin (no LayerZero endpoint) and excluded for reward tokens.
- Opening reserve (y₀)
- The curve's initial virtual quote reserve - the knob behind “opening market cap”. Bounded
0.05-50 ETH; default2 ETH. - pump.fun bundle
- A Solana-only launch mode: the token is created on pump.fun's own curve with a disclosed multi-wallet first buy landed atomically via Jito. Flat fee; none of the platform's fee/reward/referral mechanics. More.
- Quote asset
- What a curve is denominated in: the chain's native coin by default, or an admin-whitelisted ERC-20 (contract-level support). More.
- Referral rail
- The flat
0.05%-of-volume leg of every trade fee that pays the trader's referrer. More. - Reward token
- A token whose transfers are taxed to reward holders. On Solana (Token-2022) the tax hits every transfer on any venue; an EVM reward token can only take a cut in its official pool. Payout is keeper-driven, never instant. More.
- Slippage tolerance
- How far the price may move between your quote and your fill before the trade reverts instead. Presets
0.5/1/3%. - Staking pool
- A per-token pool holders can stake into when the token routes fees to stakers; rewards accrue in ETH, the token itself, and - once live - tokenized stock.
- State pill
- The badge showing a token's phase: Bonding → Filled → Graduated (or Recovered). More.
- Swap fee
- The per-trade fee a creator fixes at launch,
0.5-3%, immutable, split between creator, platform and referrals. More.
T - Z
- Token-2022
- Solana's newer token program, whose transfer-fee extension lets a mint tax every transfer on any venue - the enforcement an EVM ERC-20 cannot match. The basis of Solana reward tokens.
- Tokenized equity
- A Robinhood Chain ERC-20 tracking a stock or ETF's total return - legally a debt security issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, not a share. More.
- Vanity address
- An opt-in, chosen token address. EVM grinds a
CREATE2salt in the launch form; Solana grinds a keypair inside the pump.fun bundle flow. Non-custodial. More. - Vesting
- Linear release of tokens over time, optionally after a cliff - used by the “vest to me” fee routing (30 days from graduation) and by the locker.
- Virtual reserves
- The curve's bookkeeping quantities
xandy- initialised at launch rather than deposited, which is how a token has a well-defined price from its first second. More. - VS·SPY
- A token's 24-hour move minus SPY's over the same window, in percentage points - every token benchmarked against the S&P 500, live. More.
- Waitlist
- The signup on chains that are listed but not yet launchable; you are notified when the venue opens. More.
